The war in the Smart phone market has gone to a completely on different level. With LG making quick moves, Samsung is also giving it a tough competition. After the launch of LG Optimus G, LG recently launched Optimus G pro, and proclaimed it the best smartphone available in the market. So let’s compare this smartphone with the leading smartphone from Samsung, i.e. Samsung Galaxy S4. The competition is cut to cut.

Galaxy S4 vs LG Optimus G Pro Comparison

Let’s find out the specifications of both the smart phones. And then I will leave it to you folks to find the winner.

Considering the size of the display , LG Optimus Pro surely wins in terms of size with its 5.5 inches of display screen. LG use IPS LCD in its display whereas Samsung Galaxy S4 uses AMOLED display. The AMOLED display are said to be more True-to-life.
In terms of viewing angle of the display screen , Samsung Galaxy S4 is far superior the Optimus Pro as Galaxy S4, can be easily viewed with different angles with clarity without losing on contrast and brightness.

Interface and Connectivity

On compare the Android version running on these devices, you will find that Samsung Galaxy S4 is running Android 4.2.2 whereas Optimus Pro is using Android 4.1.2.
LG has focused more on the software interface whereas Galaxy S4 focused on introducing cool features such as TouchWiz Nature Interface. Although not all of the features introduced in Galaxy S4 are useful, some of them are good to have on your smartphone.
On comparing the software, we can easily conclude that Galaxy S4 is far more superior then Optimus Pro in terms of user experience, pure handling and custom features.

Internet Connectivity

Both the handsets provide efficient connectivity to the internet. Having an Optimus Pro is an advantage when it comes to reading content online, due to its larger screen size. The custom browsers installed in both the smartphone provide efficient web browsing. I would recommend you folks Galaxy S4 if you are a frequent web browser as its browser is slightly better in terms of interface and the overall user experience.

Processor and Memory

Both the smartphones use the same chipset which is Qualcomm Snapdragon 600. But, you may find a Galaxy S4 with an Exynos 5 Octa CPU, which is expected to run even better and provide faster results.
Although Snapdragon 600, fits all the benchmarks of efficiency and faster response time, which makes the software installed over it to perform comparatively better than other software.
Just imagine the level to which the software performance would improve if you would use an even better Exynos 5 Octa CPU in your smartphone.

Storage Options

Galaxy S4 provides a wide range of choices in terms of internal storage. You can have an internal storage of 16, 32 or 64 GB. Optimus Pro on the other hand, provides no option in terms of internal storage. Optimus Pro launched currently comes with 32 GB internal storage.
