Leaked ROM for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Wi-Fi Android 4.2.2

Good news for all the owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Wi-Fi. The completely official Android 4.2.2 ROM has leaked out to the internet and is available for flashing now. While this update is official, there is a great possibility that it is not yet the final version; there could still be minor bug fixes and other improvements so it is safe to expect a final build in the near future.

Even though this update doesn’t bring many new things, some improvements are noticeable after flashing it on the tablet. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 feels a lot faster, working more fluidly and the battery life is also better

Let’s remember the specifications of the device itself, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Wi-Fi. Firstly announced at the Mobile World Congress 2013 in Barcelona, the device comes with the following:

    • 1.6 GHz quad core processor
    • TouchWiz Nature UX
    • S Pen functions
    • Android 4.1.2 (with Android 4.2.2 upgrade supported)
    • 8 inch 1280 x 800 (WXGA) display
    • 5 megapixel camera
